Job summary

Olshan Properties seeks a Doorman to secure building entrances and provide courteous resident-facing service in a regular full-time capacity at the New York property. The role includes greeting guests, verifying IDs, managing deliveries, and maintaining a log of incidents and packages.

The Doorman will interact with residents and visitors, assist with basic maintenance tasks, and ensure safety and visibility of the lobby area, wearing a complete uniform and upholding company policies.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and residents, verify identification, and control access.
• Keep entrance clear of debris and assist with door operation.
• Assist with hailing taxis and receiving packages for residents.
• Support superintendent and porter with maintenance tasks when needed.
• Monitor the vicinity, respond to emergencies, and maintain a uniform appearance.
• Keep logs for guests and deliveries up-to-date.
