Job summary

Sun Loan is seeking a Loan Specialist in Peoria, IL to be at the heart of the branch, helping customers find solutions, build financial confidence, and achieve their goals. You will build lasting relationships, guide lending options, and support branch growth in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of customer service experience, strong communication, and a positive work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Help customers apply for and secure loan products that meet their needs.
• Build strong customer relationships through exceptional service.
• Contact customers regarding payment arrangements and account solutions.
• Identify opportunities for refinancing and additional services.
• Support collections efforts while maintaining a customer-first approach.
• Process loan applications accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain compliance with company, state, and federal regulations.
• Promote additional services including tax preparation, referral programs, and other branch offerings.
• Assist with branch operations and support leadership when needed.

Schedule

• Monday - Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM


• Friday: 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM


• Rotating Saturdays (November-March): 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM


• No Sundays!
