Job summary

The Loan Consultant II role at Lendmark Financial Services focuses on delivering exceptional customer experience while providing personal loan solutions. You will build a customer base through sales, loan extensions, and referrals, while ensuring compliance and accuracy to meet monthly goals.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED with 2–4+ years in consumer finance or related fields, strong cash handling and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Excel and Word.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2–4+ years in consumer finance or related field preferred.
• Strong cash handling and customer service abilities are essential.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist and solicit customers entering the office or calling by phone; receive and process credit and employment verifications, and record information obtained.
• Process payments, distributions, and make recommendations regarding loan approvals.
• Approve loans up to established lending limits and complete loan closings.
• Handle account activities related to collection accounts, including phone calls and face to face communications with customers.
• Prepare reports, correspondences, transaction documentation, and record and file documentation; operate cash drawer, process bank deposits, maintain records and balances and closing of the branch.
• Actively market all branch products and services to individuals.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
