Peoples Bank and Trust seeks a Loan Officer in Wichita, KS to work directly with clients, evaluate loan applications, and recommend consumer, commercial, and agricultural lending solutions that best meet individual or business needs.

You will verify information, analyze borrower creditworthiness, approve or refer decisions within policy, explain terms, and maintain accurate lending records while building a local referral network in the community.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years banking experience preferred
• Attention to detail and strong written/verbal communication skills; self-motivation and self-management; ability to follow through on tasks; problem solving; organized; analytical; interpersonal; customer relationship building; time management; computer literacy; ability to multi-task

Mansioni

• Evaluate application data to advise prospective borrowers on loan products best suited to their needs
• Assist customers in completing initial loan applications; review for accuracy and completeness and request additional information as needed
• Verify information and credit history, including obtaining credit reports
• Analyze loan applications and assess borrower creditworthiness; approve, deny, modify, or refer decisions
• Approve loans within lending authority and refer loans exceeding limits for management review
• Explain loan agreements, payment schedules, and terms to customers
• Maintain accurate lending records, credit files, and documentation
• Develop and maintain a strong local referral network with builders, real estate agents, and other partners
