The Agency Recruiting seeks a Senior Commercial Lender to manage and grow an established portfolio in the Wichita, Kansas area. The successful candidate will underwrite, structure and negotiate loans while building lasting relationships with local business clients and partners.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial lending experience preferred.
• Established experience managing and growing a commercial loan portfolio.
• Strong knowledge of commercial credit, financial analysis, and loan structuring.
• Demonstrated ability to develop new business and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to balance loan growth with disciplined credit standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop an established commercial loan portfolio of approximately $50MM.
• Build and maintain relationships with commercial clients, business owners, and referral partners throughout the Wichita market.
• Identify new lending opportunities and generate approximately $5MM-$10MM in annual loan production.
• Underwrite, structure, and negotiate commercial loans while maintaining sound credit quality.
• Develop new business through networking, prospecting, and community involvement.
• Evaluate C&I and commercial real estate lending opportunities while identifying opportunities to expand existing relationships.
• Partner with internal credit and lending teams to move deals efficiently through the approval process.
• Maintain a strong understanding of market conditions, client needs, and portfolio performance.
