TruChoice FCU in the greater Portland, Maine area is hiring a Loan Servicing Specialist based at our South Portland Operations Center. You will handle real estate and consumer loan tasks, including processing payoffs, payoff statements, and maintaining loan documents.

• One to three years of related loan servicing experience.
• Two-year degree or equivalent certification completed.

Responsibilities

• Order, track, and record titles on vehicles held as collateral; ensure liens are perfected and documentation retained properly.
• Track and review all real estate title orders, appraisals, and documentation; maintain database; coordinate with supervisors and FSRs for efficiency.
• Process new and existing property liens; order real estate appraisal, flood search, and title search requests in a timely manner.
• Assist with reports related to NCUA, FHLB, HMDA; act as High Price Mortgage and portfolio mortgage liaison; identify trends for management.
• Complete loan documentation including subordination requests, rate match requests, skip-a-pay monitoring, insurance settlements, credit reporting, and inquiries/corrections.
• Contribute to loan operations workflow improvements for efficiency and consistency.
• Occasionally perform underwriting functions consistent with lending philosophy.
