Job summary

Ameris Bank is seeking a detail-oriented Loan Servicing Specialist in Atlanta to accurately process loan payments, review loan modifications, and manage payoff requests within core systems. You will support cross-functional teams and provide superior service to internal and external customers.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in loan servicing, strong data entry, accuracy, and communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex accounts while maintaining internal controls and regulatory

Qualifications

• Must have strong data entry and accuracy
• Able to navigate loan systems and processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Processes loan payments via ACH, wires, or checks
• Reviews new, renewed, and modified loans on core system
• Performs payoff processing and exception item handling
• Responds to Salesforce cases and emails within SLAs
• Maintains compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
• Produces accurate reports and performs loan maintenance tasks
