Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Loan Servicing Specialist I to support the Loan Administration team. This role requires regular onsite attendance and collaboration with colleagues to deliver accurate customer service and maintain records for loan documentation.

Responsibilities include overseeing escrow accounts, performing escrow analyses, processing mortgage insurance billings, and ensuring compliance with bank regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 years related experience.
• Proficient with computers; basic MS Word and Excel.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and present information.

Responsibilities

• Regular onsite attendance.
• Provide accurate, efficient customer service to internal and external customers.
• Maintain knowledge of bank regulations, security and compliance responsibilities, products, policies, procedures and meet deadlines.
• Maintain accurate and timely records for incomplete loan documentation.
• Oversee escrow accounts on loans for taxes and insurance and perform escrow analysis.
• Process monthly Mortgage Insurance and Force Plan Insurance Billings.
• Maintain monthly Flood Zone Reports.
• Assist with daily servicing functions and resolve borrower issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
