CAKE Mortgage is seeking a detail-oriented Loan Servicing Specialist to join our team in California. The role focuses on accurate loan maintenance, responding to member inquiries, and day-to-day operations for our loan portfolio in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You will complete loan maintenance requests, communicate with borrowers, process payments, interact with investors, and help resolve issues, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, reliability, and client service.

Qualifications

• Banking or customer service experience preferred.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal/external partners.
• Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a changing environment.
• Spanish or Armenian language skills are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Loan Servicing Specialist to join our team at Cake Mortgage Corp. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate loan maintenance, addressing member inquiries, and performing essential day-to-day operational functions for our loan portfolio. This role requires your presence in the office and offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to our lending operations.

The Loan Servicing Specialist will be responsible for

• Completing loan maintenance requests.


• Corresponding verbally and in writing directly with borrowers.


• Collect borrower payments and/or place collection calls.


• Interact with and process requests from Investors.


• Enter boarding/purchase information.


• Resolving issues: Researching and resolving loan-related issues, such as missing payments or disputed accounts.


• Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Banking or customer service experience preferred.


• Computer proficiency with good knowledge of Microsoft Office software and Adobe.


• Strong organizational skills, ability to support multiple tasks, and able to prioritize workload.


• Strong and professional verbal and written communication skills with an ability to effectively communicate with internal and external partners to resolve issues.


• Self-starter who can carry out assignments to completion and work with minimal supervision.


• Willingness to learn new things and ability to adapt in a constantly changing environment.


• Proficiency in communicating in Spanish or Armenian is highly desirable.
