Job summary

First Mid Bancshares, Inc. seeks a Loan Servicing Support Associate to centralize support for loan and insurance documentation after closings.

You will handle reception, document imaging, and file maintenance while ensuring exceptional service to internal and external customers. Key duties include reviewing documents, imaging, auditing collateral, and coordinating with loan officers and staff to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years clerical or banking experience preferred; insurance experience optional but advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic loan-processing knowledge are expected.
• Demonstrates ability to handle detailed information accurately, promptly and confidentially.
• Able to manage a substantial workload and work independently or with a team.

Responsibilities

• Open, review, and disburse daily mail and courier items to the right staff.
• Review documents for signatures and completeness; image appropriately.
• Maintain loan and collateral files and assist with audits and purges.
• Assist in obtaining updated insurance information to protect the bank’s interests.
• Collaborate with loan officers and staff to resolve documentation issues.
