Job summary

First Mid Bancshares, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist to analyze loan documentation for complex commercial and CRE loans, ensuring timely delivery and minimal risk.

You will review filings, authorizations, and write-ups, while coordinating with loan teams to resolve discrepancies. The role requires attention to detail, strong knowledge of banking regulations, and the ability to coach processors.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required; Associates preferred.
• 3+ years banking, clerical, or loan processing experience is expected.
• Strong knowledge of loan documentation and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Identify and report non-compliance in loan files; clear deficiencies with processors and loan officers.
• Review business entity documents, authorizations to borrow, and ensure proper drafting of resolutions and loan documents.
• Lead communication with loan officers and processing teams to resolve discrepancies and provide status updates.
