Job summary

First Mid Bancshares, Inc. is seeking an administrative support professional for the lending area. You will assist loan officers by preparing documents, notices, reports, and appraisals, and handle loan inquiries and payments with customers in a courteous manner.

As the main receptionist for the lending team, you will greet customers, answer calls, and direct them to the appropriate personnel while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in all loan-related records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Must be able to manage a large amount of detailed information accurately and confidentially.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers and staff.
• Knowledge of loan systems and Premier system.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to loan officers and perform general record keeping.
• Serve as receptionist for the lending area, answering inquiries professionally.
• Prepare loan documents, notices, reports and appraisals as needed.
• Handle loan payments, balances, payoffs and customer questions.
• Coordinate with Loan Servicing and Credit Administration to clear branch exceptions.
• Print closing documents and manage document routing for proper storage.
• Cross-sell bank products and process customer transactions as needed.
• Complete all required training and perform related duties as assigned.
