Job summary

First Mid Bancshares, Inc. is seeking a Retail Loan Servicing Clerk II to provide centralized loan servicing support to branches, customers and loan officers. You will handle payment processing, inquiries via phone or ticket, ensure accuracy and maintain knowledge of regulations.

Strong Microsoft Office skills and ability to manage a heavy workload are required. Responsibilities include processing payments (ACH/wire), reviewing billing schedules, resolving discrepancies, and generating loan

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years clerical or banking experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for incoming customer service inquiries related to loans, via phone or ticket, while meeting established service level standards.
• Identify and resolve payment related discrepancies in a timely and effective manner.
• Initiate and complete payment reversals and corrections in accordance with established procedures.
• Execute accurate and timely processing of payments, including electronic transfers, ACH transactions and wire transfers.
• Completes a variety of loan reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
