Job summary

Journey Bank, a community bank with 22 locations, is hiring a Loan Servicing Associate for its Operations Center in Bloomsburg, PA. This on-site role handles document imaging, collateral filings, inquiries, and loan modifications within a collaborative team.

The position requires a high school diploma and preferred banking experience, with emphasis on accuracy, communication, and service to customers and internal staff.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• One year banking experience is preferred.
• Strong reading, writing, grammar, and math skills.
• Accurate, with ability to learn loan documentation and servicing rules.

Responsibilities

• Scan and index loan documents and maintain imaging quality.
• Record, renew or satisfy collateral filings for mortgages, titles, and UCCs.
• Research and follow up on customer inquiries and issues.
• Process extensions, renewals and modifications for commercial loans.
• Remit payments received and department billings.
• Correct unposted transactions and review notices daily.
• Answer phones and direct inquiries to appropriate staff.
• Assist others to meet department goals.
• Review new loan docs for signatures and discrepancies; follow up as needed.
