Job summary

Journey Bank in Bloomsburg, PA is seeking a full-time Loan Servicing Associate to join our Operations Center on-site. The role involves scanning loan documents, handling collateral filings and responding to inquiries to support the loan servicing function.

Primary responsibilities include processing extensions, renewals, and modifications for Commercial Loans, handling payments, and ensuring accurate records. Strong attention to detail and basic banking knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year banking experience preferred.
• Strong reading, writing and grammar skills; proficient math and PC skills.
• Moderate interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to learn loan documentation and servicing requirements and bank operating policies and procedures.
• High degree of accuracy is essential.

Responsibilities

• Scan and index loan documents and maintain imaging quality.
• Record, renew or satisfy collateral filings for mortgages, vehicle titles and UCCs.
• Research and follow up on customer inquiries.
• Process extensions, renewals and modifications for Commercial Loans.
• Remit and process payments and department billings.
• Correct unposted transactions and review system notices.
• Answer and direct incoming calls from customers.
• Assist other Loan Servicing staff and Manager to meet department goals.
• Review new loan documents for completeness and rectify discrepancies.
