Job summary

The Mortgage Talent Network is partnering with a boutique private money lender in Orange County to hire a loan servicing professional who will own the day-to-day servicing through workouts, foreclosure, bankruptcy, eviction, REO, and final sale. This is a senior, ownership-driven role in a fast-paced environment.

You will oversee payments, delinquencies, investor/borrower communications, and REO marketing, while coordinating with trustees, attorneys, and bankruptcy counsel.

Qualifications

• Experience in California private money or commercial real estate lending.
• Hands-on experience taking loans through default, foreclosure, and resolution.
• Confidence working with foreclosure trustees, attorneys, and bankruptcy counsel.
• Clear, professional communication, especially when a loan is in trouble.
• Strong organization and sound independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payments, payoffs, reconveyances, and investor and borrower communication
• Spot trouble early by tracking delinquencies, senior liens, taxes, and insurance
• Negotiate workouts, modifications, and forbearance agreements with borrowers
• Manage the foreclosure process with trustees and counsel, including bankruptcy and eviction matters
• Protect, manage, and market REO properties through sale and final payout
