Job summary

Heritage Bank is seeking a Loan Services Banking Specialist to combine loan servicing expertise with hands-on branch support in the Willmar area. The role is an in-branch position with coverage across Spicer, Pennock, Raymond, or Willmar branches.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in loan servicing or related banking operations, with an Associate degree preferred. You will balance loans, support servicing tasks, and provide daily retail support to customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in loan servicing or related banking operations.
• Associate degree in Business, Finance, Banking or related field preferred.
• Retail banking or customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with loan documentation, collateral, and servicing functions.
• CSI Core experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and balance consumer, commercial, agricultural, and mortgage loans in the core system.
• Handle loan advances, payments, payoffs, modifications, and maintenance requests.
• Establish automatic payments, ACH transfers, overdraft protection, and servicing functions.
• Assist with audits, examinations, and regulatory servicing requirements.
• Provide branch support and daily retail coverage as needed.
• Deliver excellent customer service through in-person, phone, and digital channels.
• Travel among Spicer, Pennock, Raymond, and Willmar branches as assigned.
