Job summary

Wheatland Bank seeks a Loan Quality Control Specialist in Spokane to ensure adherence to bank policies and regulations. You will review loans post-boarding, train staff for accuracy, and provide excellent service to internal and external customers.

Responsibilities include reviewing daily reports, monitoring insurance and loan payments, and supporting pre-closing reviews and collateral filings. Strong regulatory knowledge and 5+ years in loan servicing are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Loan Servicing position.
• High school diploma required.
• Ability to work independently, quickly and accurately.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to find and correct errors.
• Ability to train others.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications and the ability to learn new systems.
• Broad knowledge of banking regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Review the daily new loans report within ten business days per applicable procedures.
• Provide training for Loan Servicing staff regarding errors found during reviews.
• Coordinate with Training Department on staff training related to payments and loans.
• Review all daily reports in a timely manner following bank policies.
• Input and monitor force placed insurance.
• Process payments for PCBB loans.
• Monitor loan reporting and boarding, including tax tracking.
• Assist in pre-closing document reviews for accuracy and conditions of loan approval.
• Assist with collateral perfection including UCC filings and continuations.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.
• Scan supporting documentation to the bank’s electronic filing system.
