Qualifications

  • Provide training for Loan Servicing staff in relation to errors found.
  • Collaborate with Training Department on staff training.
  • Review all daily reports in a timely manner per policies.
  • Input and monitor all tax tracking via the bank’s software.
  • Process payments for PCBB loans.
  • Monitor FSA loan reporting and boarding.
  • Provide back up for Pre-closing document review and collateral perfection.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.
  • Ensure compliance with BSA, Patriot Act, OFAC and related laws.

About The Role

The Loan Quality Control Specialist is responsible for adhering to bank policies and procedures as well as federal and state regulations. Works closely with the Loan Operations Director and Loan Operations Manager for quality control review of all loans after boarding. Provides training to staff as needed for accuracy and efficiency purposes. Provides excellent customer service to both internal and external customers as needed.

The pay range for this positon is: $27.34 to $41.01 per hour

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
  • Review the daily new loans report within ten (10) business days per the New Loans Report SOX Control LN2a procedure, Critical Maintenance SOX Control and other Loan Servicing report reviews.
  • Provide training for Loan Servicing staff in relation to errors found during the New Loans Report review on missing SOX items.
  • Work with Wheatland Bank Training Department on training retail staff on taking payments, processing advances, and main contact for Loan Servicing for Retail staff.
  • Review all daily reports in a timely manner according to bank policies and procedures.
  • Input and monitor all force placed insurance.
  • Process payments for PCBB loans.
  • Monitor FSA loan reporting and WCRA loan payments and boarding
  • Enter and maintain all tax tracking via the bank’s tax tracking software vendor.
  • Provide back up to the Loan Operations Manager for Pre-closing document review verifying accuracy and adherence to conditions of loan approval.
  • Provide back up for collateral perfection including UCC filings and continuations.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.
  • Scan any supporting documentation to the bank’s electronic filing system as needed.
  • Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
  • Complete required bank training within assigned time frame(s). It is the individual's responsibility to ensure that they understand the information given to them in each training. If the learner does not understand the information given, they need to reach out to a supervisor for further clarification and additional training.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise level.

Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.

Specific lifting abilities required by this job include: Up to 20 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.

Starting salary is dependent upon relevant experience and may vary based on the geographic location of the position.

  • Most Full-Time employees are also offered 6 paid holidays and Part Time employees are offered pro-rated paid holidays.
  • In addition, employees in Utah and Nevada may be eligible for pay for certain state recognized holidays.
