Job summary

7 17 Credit Union is seeking a lending specialist to guide members through loan decisions and coordinate paperwork for closing and disbursement. You will work with members and vendors to gather information, verify data, and ensure all steps meet current procedures for timely processing.

Essential duties include reviewing applications, coordinating with underwriters and third parties, and post-closing tasks while maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Contact members regarding loan decisions and gather required information.
• Prepare and review loan documents for closing and disbursement.
• Coordinate with underwriters, vendors and sellers to finalize loans.
• Input and verify application data and post transactions.
• Communicate with members and third parties to obtain needed information.
• Maintain confidentiality of member transactions and credit union business.
• Meet credit union and sales goals while complying with regulations.
