Job summary

7 17 Credit Union is seeking an organized Loan Processor to guide members through loan decisions and the closing process. You will collect necessary information, prepare loan documents, and coordinate with third parties to ensure timely closings and disbursement of funds.

The role requires accurate data handling, adherence to regulatory procedures, and the ability to support customers with diligence and courtesy throughout underwriting, closing, and post-closing steps.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months' consumer loan experience in the last three years.
• Must obtain an acceptable score on an Excel assessment.

Responsibilities

• Contact members regarding loan decisions and gather information for underwriting.
• Prepare and review loan documents for closing and ensure accuracy.
• Disburse loans and complete post-closing checklists.
• Coordinate with sellers, dealerships and financial institutions for required information.
• Audit and correct closing paperwork, taxes, payoff figures and title details.
