Job summary

Navigant Credit Union in Rhode Island is seeking a Loan Servicing Specialist to maintain loan products across credit cards, residential, consumer, indirect and commercial loans. You will process payoffs, lien releases, and adjustments while assisting with disbursements.

You will support members and staff, oversee sub-servicers, monitor insurance, complete daily reports, and contribute to regulatory compliance and process improvement.

Qualifications

• 2-year banking experience required, preferably with payments processing.
• Knowledge of lending policies, laws and regulations.
• Excellent verbal, written, telephone and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong member/customer service orientation in alignment with credit union's mission.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain loan servicing duties for credit cards, residential, consumer, indirect and commercial loans.
• Process subordinations, lien releases, and loan payoffs.
• Prepare payoff statements for customers.
• Support credit card operations including limit reviews and adjustments.
• Coordinate with sub servicers and monitor insurance coverage.
• Complete daily/monthly cView reports.
• Assist with audits and regulatory compliance.
• Test new core system modules and releases.
• Identify operational efficiencies through technology and automation.
• Liaise with third-party vendors for insurance renewals and force-placed insurance.
