Job summary

West Capital Lending, Inc. is seeking a motivated Loan Officer to guide clients through the financing process, assess financial information, and tailor loan solutions while ensuring compliance. You will leverage leads and collaborate with an in-house manager and processing team to deliver a smooth client journey.

You will review credit reports, recommend suitable products, and manage the end-to-end loan process while maintaining strong client relationships and meeting sales goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Loan Officer or similar role in financial services.
• Current Loan Officer license (NMLS).
• Strong understanding of loan products, underwriting, and industry compliance.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to assess financial data and determine creditworthiness.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and loan processing software.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assess loan applications by reviewing credit reports, financial documents, and client goals.
• Recommend appropriate loan products based on client eligibility and financial situation.
• Guide clients through the entire loan process, ensuring a smooth and informed experience.
• Verify documentation and ensure compliance with all regulations.
• Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and support teams to drive timely approvals.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of lending guidelines, market conditions, and regulations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and referral business.
• Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals.
