Job summary

Union Home Mortgage is seeking a Loan Officer Assistant to support the loan process from initial contact to contract. You will collect client information, review borrower documents, and maintain ongoing communication with the Managing Loan Officer in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include following up with leads and realtors, pulling initial credit, and coordinating with title and escrow teams to ensure timely file progression.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in a basic Loan Officer Assistant role.
• Structured, detailed and accurate in approach to tasks.
• Knowledge of the Encompass LOS and MS Office suite.
• Ability to identify and resolve client issues with good judgement.
• Desire to work in an energetic and high-paced environment.
• Skillful at multi-tasking and staying organized with proper time management.

Responsibilities

• Provide WoW service to all clients from initial contact through the contract received.
• Lead Follow Up.
• Document review.
• Collect client basic information and upload via myUHM app.
• Review borrower documentation and follow up on missing items.
• Maintain regular contact with the Managing Loan Officer on status of files.
• Attend weekly huddles with LOA Team Leader and sales huddles.
• Initiate contact with new leads and realtors to set appointments.
