Job summary

First PREMIER Bank is seeking a Loan Documentation Specialist to oversee workflow for the Loan Documentation team and align daily activities with departmental priorities. You will support Retail, Commercial, and Ag lending, becoming the subject matter expert on loan documentation system functionality and compliance.

You will collaborate across departments to ensure accuracy and efficiency, mentor peers, and lead system integration efforts while maintaining strong records for audits and exams.

Qualifications

• Banking knowledge and loan processing basics preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication with internal teams and vendors.
• Ability to build positive working relationships in a collaborative environment.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities with high data volume.
• High level of accuracy and precision when reviewing information.
• Proficiency with standard office software and data systems.
• 4+ years in banking, loan processing, or office administration preferred.
• Experience with LaserPro and familiarity with Credit Bureau reporting a plus.
• Strong numerical reasoning skills and basic math concepts.

Responsibilities

• Manages workflow for the Loan Documentation team and coordinates task distribution.
• Supports Retail, Commercial, and Ag lending and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Serves as SME on loan documentation system functionality and documentation strategy.
• Collaborates across departments to ensure accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.
• Mentors peers, trains team members, and monitors regulatory adherence.
• Leads system integration efforts and manages upgrades and testing.
• Assigns daily tasks based on workload and capabilities; monitors progress.
• Maintains records, document retention, and prepares for audits.
• Develops and updates departmental procedures and coordinates with vendors.
