Job summary

Simmons Bank in Arkansas is seeking a Consumer Client Specialist to support bankers by servicing, maintaining and updating loan documentation and files. The role involves substantial interaction with customers, both internal and external, and requires excellent customer service and proactive communication.

You will coordinate loan documentation, ensure compliance with policy, monitor reports, and assist in gathering financial data and correspondence to manage client relationships.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required; 2-4 years’ loan experience required.
• Moderate understanding of loan documentation and banking regulations.
• Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with Lending Cycle, Argo, and Synergy.

Responsibilities

• Manage moderate to high volume and complexity of loans efficiently.
• Coordinate preparation of required loan documentation.
• Review documentation for compliance with requirements.
• Coordinate execution of loan documents.
• Organize workflow for loan renewal.
• Follow up with clients, insurance agents, Title Company and/or attorney for missing documentation.
• Resolve exceptions and deficiencies per Credit Policy.
• Ensure proper reporting and compliance for the bank.
• Support bankers with data collection and client communications.
• Provide retail support in some markets (open accounts, maintenance).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
