Job summary

ServisFirst Bank is seeking a Loan Specialist I – Due Diligence in Birmingham, AL to assemble loan documentation for commercial and consumer loans in compliance with regulations and bank policy. You will ensure accuracy, meet deadlines, and support timely processing.

The role requires reviewing pre-closing documents, addressing exceptions, and keeping internal systems updated (nCino, Footprints). Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Word/Excel are expected to support efficient loan

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
1+ year of related experience.
Experience with commercial and consumer loan documentation.
Ability to work without supervision.
Strong organizational and time management skills; capable of meeting deadlines.
Proficiency with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

Review submitted loan documentation to ensure all required documents are received and address exceptions.
Verify proper approvals for loan requests including collateral and fee waivers.
Update internal systems such as nCino and Footprints in a timely manner.
Submit reviewed packages to Doc Prep after documentation review.
Adhere to compliance regulations and Bank policies in all duties.
