Job summary

SouthState Bank is seeking a Loan Booking Specialist to own the processing of consumer, commercial, and mortgage loans from documentation to booking in the core servicing system. You will ensure compliance with policies and regulations while supporting other Loan Operations tasks as needed.

The role requires familiarity with loan documents, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work within production timelines. Prior experience with Fiserv systems and related training is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Knowledge of loan servicing functions including consumer, commercial and mortgage loans.
• Experience with Fiserv systems software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review executed loan documents and terms for ongoing management.
• Book new, renewed, and modified loans/lines of credit to the core system.
• Ensure documents comply with bank policies and regulations.
• Meet production timelines and SLAs.
• Respond to inquiries from customers, lenders, and staff.
