Job summary

SouthState Bank is seeking a Loan Booking Specialist to manage the booking of Consumer, Commercial and Mortgage loans to the core servicing system. You will review executed loan documents, ensure compliance with bank policies and regulations, and maintain accurate records in a timely manner.

This role requires accuracy, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to meet SLAs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an operations role and knowledge of loan servicing.
• Knowledge of Federal and State regulatory items.
• Good interpersonal skills and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret executed loan documents for terms and conditions.
• Book/board new, renewed, and modified Consumer, Commercial and Mortgage loans/lines of credit to the core.
• Ensure documents comply with bank policies and regulations.
• Meet production timelines and SLAs.
• Respond to inquiries from customers and bank personnel.
