Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in Terrell, TX is seeking a Shipping Loader/Unloader for day shifts to prepare products for delivery. You will assemble boxes, label containers, weigh and pack items, and support receiving processes.

The role requires good attendance, some mechanical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Training and opportunities for raises/bonuses are provided.

Qualifications

• Fast-paced environment experience preferred.
• Excellent attendance is required.
• Some mechanical skills are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assemble boxes, crates, or containers for shipment.
• Label and protect items by adding padding or lining as needed.
• Weigh, measure and count products for accuracy.
• Pack items according to shipping needs and supervisor specifications.
• Complete clerical tasks using shop floor computer and RF equipment.
• Conduct inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.

Shipping Loader/Unloader - Days is focused on preparing our products for delivery and reports to the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor. This role is perfect for an individual who has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, has excellent attendance and some mechanical skills.

What We Are Looking For:

• Assembling boxes, crates, or containers
• Labeling and marking containers and insert lining or padding material to protect items during shipment
• Weighing, measuring and counting product
• Packing items according to shipping needs or supervisors' specifications, ensuring that the crates/boxes and packages are accurately packed
• Completing clerical tasks with the ability to use shop floor computer and RF equipment
• Conducting inspections to examine products and make sure they meet our specifications for quality and aren't damage
