Old-Castle-Building-Envelop is seeking a Shipping Loader/Unloader in Ohio. The role focuses on preparing products for delivery, reporting to the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with strong attendance and basic mechanical skills.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading glass, assembling containers, labeling, weighing, packing, clerical tasks, and quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize work with deadlines; overtime when required.
• Work performed inside a production environment.
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs unassisted.
• Ability to stand on your feet for 8-10 hours per day on a concrete floor.
• Noise levels can be moderate to high.
• Plant facility subject to regional climate conditions.

Responsibilities

• On/off loading of glass from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for eight or more hours daily.
• Assembling boxes, crates, or containers.
• Labeling and marking containers and insert padding material to protect items during shipment.
• Weighing, measuring and counting product.
• Packing items according to shipping needs or supervisor specifications.
• Completing clerical tasks with the ability to use shop floor computer and RF equipment.
• Conducting inspections to ensure products meet quality specs and aren’t damaged.

What You’ll Get to Do

The Shipping Loader/Unloader is focused on preparing our products for delivery and reports to the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor. This role is perfect for an individual who has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, has excellent attendance and some mechanical skills.

Job responsibilities include:

• On/off loading of glass from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for eight or more hours daily
• Assembling boxes, crates, or containers
• Labeling and marking containers and insert lining or padding material to protect items during shipment
• Weighing, measuring and counting product
• Packing items according to shipping needs or supervisors' specifications, ensuring that the crates/boxes and packages are accurately packed
• Completing clerical tasks with the ability to use shop floor computer and RF equipment
• Conducting inspections to examine products and make sure they meet our specifications for quality and aren\'t damaged
