Job summary

WIN Waste Innovations is seeking a Loader Operator to safely operate heavy equipment at a recycling facility, landfill, or transfer station. You will transfer, spread, cover, load, and/or compact waste or soil while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities include inspections, continuous monitoring of waste, equipment upkeep, minor servicing, reporting, and maintaining a clean, safe shop. Competitive benefits and a strong 401K with company match are offered.

Qualifications

• Two years of related experience in heavy equipment operation.
• Good time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed safely.
• Ability to adhere to company policies and safety standards.
• Maintains pride in work and strives to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment.
• Safely operate equipment including forklift, excavator, bulldozer, front-end loader.
• Monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable waste in materials.
• Inspect equipment to minimize downtime and clean as needed.
• Perform minor servicing and report needed repairs to maintenance.
• Complete Equipment Condition Reports and other reports as necessary.
• Follow safety policies and keep the shop clean and organized.
• Perform other job-related duties and maintain a positive work environment.
