WIN Waste Innovations in Stamford, CT is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate heavy machinery at recycling facilities, landfills, or transfer stations. You will perform pre- and post-operation inspections and handle equipment such as forklifts, excavators, bulldozers, and loaders to support efficient waste processing.

Responsibilities include monitoring waste quality, minimizing downtime, and completing reports, while adhering to safety policies and maintaining a clean work area.

Qualifications

• Two years prior related experience in heavy equipment operation.
• Good time management skills to ensure tasks are completed safely.
• Ability to follow company policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment.
• Safely operate equipment such as forklift, excavator, bulldozer, and loader.
• Monitor waste and equipment condition to minimize downtime.
• Document minor service needs and report major issues.
