Job summary

Martin Marietta in Texas seeks a Loader Operator to safely move aggregate materials, stockpile from railcars, and load customer trucks. Competitive hourly pay with OT, day-one benefits, and opportunities for advancement are offered.

You will perform pre-shift inspections, basic maintenance, and assist with plant upkeep while following MSHA/OSHA safety standards. 12-hour shifts with potential weekend work are possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year of heavy equipment experience; loader experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of heavy construction equipment.
• Experience with a variety of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate loader/dozer safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-shift safety inspections.
• Perform preventative maintenance on mobile equipment.
• Report needed repairs to supervision.
• Ensure cargo is properly loaded according to safety requirements.
• Maintain good housekeeping of equipment.
• Assist in plant maintenance and operation of other equipment.
• Adhere to MSHA/OSHA safety rules and procedures.
• Perform duties with minimum supervision.
