Job summary

Martin Marietta seeks a Loader Operator to safely operate a front-end loader/dozer, stockpile materials, and load trucks accurately. You will perform pre-shift inspections and assist with maintenance in a fast-paced, team environment.

The role requires a strong safety ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts with potential weekends and overtime. Training is provided to ensure compliance with MSHA/OSHA rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of heavy construction equipment.
• 1 year of heavy equipment experience; loader operation preferred.
• Experience with a variety of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loader/dozer safely and efficiently.
• Stockpile materials and load customer trucks on time.
• Perform pre-shift safety inspections and report repairs.
• Maintain good housekeeping of equipment and assist maintenance.
• Adhere to safety rules, policies and plant procedures.
• Communicate movements with coworkers via CB radio or hand signals.
