Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, is a leading supplier of aggregates, asphalt, ready mixed concrete, and paving services in Texas. The Loader Operator role supports daily asphalt plant production by operating heavy equipment and maintaining stockpiles in a safety-focused environment.

The ideal candidate has a HS diploma/GED, 2 years of construction experience, and knowledge of heavy equipment. Must be able to work nights/weekends and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 years of experience in the construction field.
• Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate a front-end loader to move, load and supply aggregate materials to bins and hoppers.
• Maintain organized and properly managed stockpiles.
• Monitor material quality and report inconsistencies to plant personnel.
• Perform basic equipment checks and routine maintenance (fueling, cleaning, inspections).
• Assist with general plant upkeep and production tasks.
• Follow all OSHA safety procedures at all times.
• Communicate with plant operators, truck drivers, and crew to ensure smooth production flow.
