Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH Company, is seeking a Plant Operator to oversee daily asphalt plant operations ensuring safe, efficient production and quality output.

Responsibilities include monitoring controls, coordinating with loaders and drivers, and performing preventive maintenance. Candidates should have 2–3 years of related experience and a high school diploma or GED, with willingness to travel and work nights/weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plant controls to regulate material flow and asphalt production.
• Ensure production meets quality standards and specifications.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational or mechanical issues.
• Maintain accurate production and maintenance records.
• Coordinate with loader operators, truck drivers, and quality control personnel to meet daily schedules.
• Enforce and follow all OSHA and MSHA regulations.
