Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, is seeking a Loader Operator to support daily asphalt plant production by operating a front-end loader, moving aggregates to bins and maintaining stockpiles.

You will follow safety procedures, perform basic equipment checks, assist with plant upkeep, and communicate with operators and drivers to ensure smooth production flow. A high school diploma and 2 years of construction experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 years of previous related experience in the construction field.
• Previous knowledge of heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a front-end loader to move, load and supply aggregate materials to bins and hoppers.
• Maintain organized and properly managed stockpiles.
• Monitor material quality and report inconsistencies to plant personnel.
• Perform basic equipment checks and routine maintenance (fueling, cleaning, inspections).
• Assist with general plant upkeep and support other production tasks as needed.
• Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures at all times.
• Communicate effectively with plant operators, truck drivers, and other crew members to ensure smooth production flow.
