Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. in Texas is seeking a Loader to support customer service, order fulfillment, and in-store operations. This role involves assisting customers, locating and loading merchandise, restocking shelves, and ensuring safe, efficient loading of orders for pickup or delivery.

You will work with Pro and Garden Center areas as needed, follow Lowe’s safety policies, and help maintain clean, organized workspaces while responding to questions and providing project guidance to customers.

Qualifications

• 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: assist customers with locating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
• Supports checkout, fulfillment, and customer assistance needs throughout the store.
• Pulls, stages, and prepares customer and contractor orders accurately and efficiently.
• Uses power equipment and store technology safely to move, stage, and load merchandise.
• Maintains in-stock conditions by down stocking and replenishing merchandise as needed.
• Supports large order fulfillment while maintaining product quality and accuracy.
• Identifies and reports safety hazards, theft, and security concerns to management.
• Operates store equipment as needed for specific roles and departments.
• Communicates product information to customers and provides project guidance when needed.
• Follows Lowe’s safety policies and procedures, including proper use of power equipment and spotters.
• The Loader role: support Pro Desk loading, engage Pro customers, and ensure efficient service for large orders.
• The Garden Center role: assist loading products and completing orders, ensure safety and accuracy.
