Qualifications

• Forklift certification required.
• Ability to read and write to handle work orders and labeling tasks.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials from pallets, trucks or customer vehicles and secure with strapping or padding.
• Build loads based on order and vehicle capacity to ensure balance and safe hauling.
• Read work orders or follow instructions to determine materials to move.
• Move materials to designated areas using hand truck, electric dolly, forklift or other device.
• Open containers and loads with basic tools.
• Attach labels/tags for correct identification of items.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in safety meetings.
• Other duties may be assigned.
