Job summary

Wheeler Staffing Partners in Plano, TX is seeking a Leave of Absence Specialist for a contract-to-hire role. The position requires at least 3 years of LOA administration experience, is hybrid with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote, and hands-on Paycom experience.

You will administer leaves, coordinate return-to-work, manage payroll implications, and partner with payroll, benefits, and HR leadership to resolve issues while maintaining confidential records.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on LOA administration experience.
• Experience managing leave eligibility, communications, tracking, and return-to-work coordination.
• Hands-on Paycom experience and ability to enter/maintain leave records.

Responsibilities

• Administer employee leaves of absence, including maternity, medical, disability, and unpaid leave.
• Review leave requests and determine eligibility based on policies.
• Guide employees and managers through leave processes and required documentation.
• Coordinate leave coverage, extensions, and return-to-work activities.
• Enter, review, approve, and maintain leave information in Paycom.
• Maintain confidential leave records and respond to inquiries within service levels.
• Prepare and maintain leave reports and related documentation.
