Job summary

Sysco seeks an experienced Leave of Absence Analyst - Regulatory & Appeals SME to lead advanced LOA administration across the U.S. within the Leave of Absence Center of Excellence.

The role requires 5+ years in LOA, strong FMLA/ADA knowledge, and collaboration with HR, Legal, Payroll and Benefits to ensure compliant, equitable leave decisions. Hybrid on-site 3–4 days per week at our Houston, TX location.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in LOA administration, HR compliance, or related field.
• Hands-on expertise applying FMLA and ADA/ADAAA in real cases.
• Strong knowledge of federal/state leave requirements and guidance.
• Experience reviewing complex LOA cases, escalations and appeals.
• Ability to analyze facts and communicate regulatory concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead LOA administration for corporate colleagues with accurate processing.
• Coordinate with HR and internal partners as main POC during leaves.
• Engage with payroll/benefits for proper coding and time tracking.
• Ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA/ADAAA, and local leave laws.
• Provide reporting and trend analysis to LOA leadership.
