Job summary

Distro is seeking an Leave of Absence Specialist to manage complex leave cases across multiple states, ensuring compliance with FMLA and state laws. You will coordinate eligibility, certifications, and return-to-work processes while maintaining confidential records and collaborating with HR, Benefits, and Payroll.

Strong communication and organizational skills are essential to provide empathetic guidance to employees and managers, and to meet KPI targets in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years LOA administration or related fields: HR/LOA management, disability or medical administration.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint) and learning other applications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end leave of absence case management for employees across multiple states.
• Administer FMLA and state-m mandated leave programs, including eligibility determination and certification review.
• Determine leave eligibility and types based on federal/state policies.
• Issue and track all required leave communications throughout the lifecycle.
