Job summary

Bechtel Corporation in Houston is seeking an experienced engineering leader to plan, develop, coordinate and review technical direction and training for large, complex LNG projects. You will prepare estimates, approve staffing and schedules, and manage performance to meet scope, schedule and budget.

This role is designated as part-time telework with at least three days in-person attendance weekly at the assigned office or project, requiring strong interdisciplinary coordination and high levels

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s or master’s degree (or international equivalent).
• 13–15 years of relevant experience or 17–19 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with LNG facilities and EPC projects is required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, coordinates and reviews technical direction and training for large, complex assignments.
• Coordinates and interfaces with day-to-day technical work.
• Communicates complex interdisciplinary technical issues to upper management and proposes solutions.
• Facilitates technical discussions with clients, suppliers and regulators.
• Prepares discipline estimates and work plans in accordance with scope, schedule and budget.
• Approves procedures and design guides and coordinates with client representatives.
• Mentors engineers, scientists, designers and drafters.
