Job summary

Bechtel invites applicants for a Senior Field Engineer role to lead field engineering, work planning, material management, and safety/compliance on LNG-related projects along the US Gulf Coast. Mobility to other units may be required as needs arise.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in heavy industrial construction, proven leadership, and strong knowledge of project controls, turnover processes, and subcontract coordination.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong LNG projects experience with heavy industrial construction and supervisory leadership.
• Proven ability to lead teams on large multidisciplinary projects on LNG, energy, or chemical sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage field engineering for work planning, packaging, and turnover.
• Oversee material management, quantity validation, and safety/quality control.
• Coordinate system turnover and subcontracts, and approve inspection plans.
• Direct coordination between design and constructability, reviews of submittals.
• Ensure alignment with project requirements and zero-accident safety philosophy.
