Job summary

CFA Institute seeks an Associate Manager, Content Production & Delivery, LMS to own Canvas-based LMS publishing workflows and improve how content moves from Word through XML to PDF/EPUB/LMS. You’ll collaborate across Content Production, Editorial, Quality Review and Technology.

Ideal candidates will have strong HTML/CSS skills, experience with Common Cartridge/QTI, and a track record of improving automation and accessibility across digital learning outputs.

Qualifications

• Experience in content production and digital publishing with ownership of complex workflows.
• Working knowledge of Canvas LMS and course configuration.
• Strong HTML and CSS skills for course structure and accessibility.
• Experience with Common Cartridge and QTI standards.
• Ability to optimize publishing processes and automation.
• Experience diagnosing cross-system rendering issues.
• Experience with XML-based publishing pipelines.
• Experience validating course rendering across browsers/devices.
• Collaborative across Editorial, Production, Quality Review and Technology teams.
• Mentoring others in production processes.
• Strong analytical skills and independent working style.

Responsibilities

• Own LMS content production health and quality, focusing on Canvas and course configuration.
• Ensure consistent structure and behavior across LMS courses.
• Improve workflows transforming content from Word to XML to PDF/EPUB/LMS.
• Diagnose and resolve complex production issues and prevent recurrence.
• Design and implement publishing automation improvements.
• Regress testing after workflow or system changes.
• Escalation point for Content Production Specialists.
• Provide training and mentoring on workflows.
• Apply accessibility and semantic content practices.
• Maintain workflow documentation and standards.
• Collaborate with Content Technology to resolve cross-system issues.
