Job summary

Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC) is seeking an IT Academic Technology Manager to join the Digital Education team and lead the LMS and educational technology efforts. This role focuses on enabling online teaching and learning across the college with Brightspace and related tools.

You will supervise staff, collaborate with CETLS and LRC, and develop faculty resources to improve student outcomes in digital learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and six years' relevant experience required.
• Advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the campus lead LMS administrator and manage system configuration.
• Represent BMCC in LMS Council meetings and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Lead troubleshooting and implement new features and LTIs.
• Oversee staff and manage educational technologies including Zoom, Padlet, VoiceThread, and Hypothesis.
• Collaborate with CETLS, learning experience designers, and Faculty Collaboratory to support student success.
