Job summary

Embry-Riddle seeks a Learning Support & Development Specialist I to provide Tier 2 technical support for teaching and learning technologies in the Worldwide Campus environment.

You will collaborate with instructional designers, IT teams, and external vendors to troubleshoot LMS issues, third-party integrations, and other academic tools, ensuring seamless access for students, faculty, and staff across channels.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical/eLearning support in a customer-facing environment.
• Ability to work with LMS, third-party integrations, and academic tech tools.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, plus attention to detail.
• Proficiency with MS Office 365 and collaboration tools.
• Familiarity with Canvas, Tableau, and automation tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 support for LMS platforms and related systems.
• Assist users with browsers, OS, and hardware issues.
• Support course start processes, QA, and publishing workflows.
• Configure third‑party integrations and academic tech tools.
• Maintain records of course updates and instructor changes.
• Analyze reports with Canvas Data/Tableau to identify issues.
• Use Power Automate and APIs to process updates at scale.
• Develop HTML documentation and knowledgebase articles.
• Test and evaluate new educational technologies.
• Support continuous improvement and tooling enhancements.
