Job summary

Embry-Riddle is seeking an Instructional Design and Development Intern to design and develop engaging online course materials and assist with LMS content creation. You will collaborate with media specialists to produce interactive content and apply adult learning principles in alignment with ERAU standards.

The internship offers hands-on experience in course design, evaluation, and management, with a flexible, remote, part-time schedule and a strong emphasis on accessibility and learner outcomes.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Instructional Design, Adult Learning, Instructional Technology, Education, or related field.
• Remote collaboration and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop engaging online course materials with clear strategies to achieve learning outcomes.
• Create and review content in the Learning Management System.
• Collaborate with Media Producers and Digital Media Specialists to create interactive course content.
• Develop adult learning solutions and apply learning theories and ERAU design standards.
• Ensure accessibility considerations are incorporated.
