Job summary

CareNow - New Caney MSO, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Multi-Tech LMRT/Medical Radiology Tech to support providers and nursing staff in a fast-paced urgent care clinic. The role includes patient intake, vital signs, EKGs, lab work, and front desk assistance.

The ideal candidate has LMRT licensure, a radiologic services background, and at least 1 year of patient-care experience, with BLS and federally compliant screening certifications attainable within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required by the state.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services required.
• LMRT license in state of residency required.
• Current AAMA certification preferred.
• 1+ year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is beneficial.
• Ability to obtain BLS certification within 30 days of start.
• Must obtain Federal Breath Alcohol and Federal Drug Screening certifications within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical duties in support of providers and Nursing staff (vital signs, history, lab specimens, EKGs).
• May apply splints, dressings and bandages; prepares and cleans exam rooms.
• Check patients in/out of the computer; assist with front desk duties.
• Assist with end-of-day procedures, patient interactions, and records release.
• Maintain records and logs for inhouse and sent-out lab work.
• Audit equipment and supplies as scheduled.
• Collaborate with Center Manager and clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high patient satisfaction.
